Dr. Clora Evans grew up in Jackson, Mississippi. She went on to attend Tougaloo College in Jackson where she earned a degree in Sociology.
With her degree in hand, she knew she wanted to help people and decided dentistry was a great way to make a difference. She attended the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry where she graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.
She went on to complete her orthodontic residency at the Georgia School of Orthodontics.
Dr. Evans has an impressive record receiving numerous awards and recognitions. Her accolades include the 2020-2021 Doctor Nathaniel Glover Leadership & Professionalism Scholarship, 2018 Brian D. Stone Memorial Award, 2018 Mississippi Dental Society Award, and 2018 J. Julius Ratliff Award of the MS Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Evans is active in the field of orthodontics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.
What she enjoys most about being an orthodontist is giving her patients increased confidence by providing a beautiful smile they are proud of.
